We are not currently registered as a non-profit, so purchases of the cookbook or cash donations are not tax deductible.

Webhosting and most expenses are paid for our affiliate businesses:

Any additional expenses, such as press releases, ISBN registration, etc. are either covered by our affiliates as well or come out of the book proceeds (which is why we have to say "most proceeds support cancer research"). Otherwise all revenue from book sales is donated to a non-profit cancer research effort; none of us who made the book receive financial benefit or salary from the sales.
